Our family’s first British park holiday was during the COVID pandemic in 2020, because holidays abroad where no longer a possibility. We were amazed at how great these holidays were with fun for all ages and great facilities that the parks and local areas offer as well as beautiful beaches. The added bonus was no longer waiting at airports and spending most of a day travelling as within a few hours we were on park and enjoying our holiday.

As our holiday was so enjoyable for the whole family, we decided to purchase our own holiday home which we found on The Lakes at Golden Sands Holiday Park by Haven in Mablethorpe. Our first intensions were to keep our holiday home just for our own family until we were asked by friends and family if they could enjoy the holiday home too. We loved hearing that they had enjoyed themselves as much as we had and so we decided to create BEES Holidays to share our holiday home and experience with everyone.

In the summer of 2022, we added a second holiday home to the BEES Holidays family and purchased our first brand new lodge with a hot tub on The Meadows at Southview Leisure Park by Park Dean in Skegness. We chose this park due to the huge investment they have just made with the expansion of the facilities and the beautiful new area our lodge is located on which enjoys a large pond with a water fall directly in front of our decking.
